Steve,

What does the 'mailq' command show you??

For example - the output of my 'mailq' command currently shows:

[root at hoshi root]# mailq
                /var/spool/mqueue (9 requests)

Which should give you a reason as to why the mail isn't leaving the queue.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Steve.

Thanks all. The problem I see is that I sent some emails from exchange
(outlook) that are set via the connector in exchange to go to mailscanner.
The mailscanner box uses dns of the AD Domain controller. The DNS of the AD
has a forwarder to the internet. The emails I sent to my other email
addresses were not reaching and as far as I can tell still have not reached
my other email addresses I use for testing. As such they have disappeared or
have not been sent yet.

These emails did show up in the mailscanner log as I had posted the results,
but I do not see the emails in their sent-to accounts, leaving me to believe
that from the mailscanner to the internet something is wrong. Perhaps it is
dns or other issue, but am still trying to figure it out.
