Hi Steve,

 In sendmail it's called a mailertable. The format of the mailertable is
along the lines of this (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm a postfix
guy..):

domain.com      smtp:[ip.add.re.ss]
domain2.com     esmtp:domain.intranet

etc...

 To make use of it, you'll need to make sure that mailertable is a defined
feature in your sendmail MC.
