User maintainable blacklist? {Scanned}

I also think that is what he meant.

I am (slowly) working on a perl cgi (sorry, do not know PHP) to allow users
to maintain many of their own properties, including blacklists, whitelists,
filename rules, etc. Unfortunately free time is slow to present itself to
me. I think instead of using text files to store the rules, a MySQL database
would be better suited. I want to say that MailScanner supports the use
MySQL for such things.

I only have one big question though, what kind of performance hit would
MailScanner take if it had to look at custom rules for 2000 or 3000
accounts?

squirrelmail to add an option like "add this sender to blacklist" which
would add it to mailscanner's blacklist.
