Nothing obviously wrong. The process in question logged nothing but:
Nov 19 11:58:08 ka MailScanner[7593]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus
Scanner version 4.25-6 starting...
Other MailScanner processes (forked childs I guess) logged normally
along the lines of
Nov 19 11:58:19 ka MailScanner[7595]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus
Scanner version 4.25-6 starting...
Nov 19 11:59:36 ka MailScanner[7595]: Using locktype = flock
Nov 19 11:59:45 ka MailScanner[7595]: New Batch: Found 701 messages
waiting
Nov 19 11:59:45 ka MailScanner[7595]: New Batch: Scanning 25 messages,
115085 bytes
Nov 19 11:59:45 ka MailScanner[7595]: Spam Checks: Starting
etc. But the one with PID 7593 would use all the CPU it could get.
cheers,
