A little comparison: version 2 was 1,290 lines of code, with 19
configuration options.
The current release is 26,625 lines of code, with 173 configuration options.
So the code has grown by a factor of 20, and the options by a factor of 9.
And it is a *whole* lot faster than version 2 as well.
As a bit of memorabilia, here is the entire mailscanner.conf file from
version 2:
# Configuration file for ECS E-Mail Virus Scanner

Max Safe Messages Per Scan = 500
Max Unsafe Messages Per Scan = 50
Max Safe Bytes Per Scan = 100000000
