Got it!! trouble with MailScanner-4.24-5

Yes, thats how i had it working for a while. My boss wasn't
too happy about it but at least e-mail got delivered (it worked fine
alone).

I wasn't getting any logs. Turning on Debug mode showed this:

bash-2.03# /opt/MailScanner/bin/check_mailscanner
Starting MailScanner...
In Debugging mode, not forking...
unix dgram connect: Socket operation on non-socket at
/opt/MailScanner/lib/MailScanner/Log.pm line 132
no connection to syslog available at
/opt/MailScanner/lib/MailScanner/Log.pm line 132
bash-2.03#

So I tried commenting the line:

 StartLogging($ConfFile);

and it worked fine!!

I found something in the FAQs about not getting logs but it doesn't apply.

Any ideas about how to be able to log info, are welcome.

Thanks for your help,

regards,
Cecilia.
