Urgent help needed: mailscanner not processing mail

Thanks, Julian -- will do.
In case this is of any use to anyone else what I finally did was
temporarily stop the incoming postfix in order to allow mailscanner to
catch up which it did after some hours, then restarted the incoming
postfix.
