Rebooting is the Microsoft way of dealing with problems, usually means
you're clueless. :) Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)
If you think you have a problem you can't just wait for it to happen.
Please test with eicar.com as earlier posts have suggested. If you don't
know it's a test file for virus scanners and can be found on:
http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
Run it like this first:
# clamscan eicar.com
eicar.com: Eicar-Test-Signature FOUND
----------- SCAN SUMMARY -----------
Known viruses: 8531
Scanned directories: 0
Scanned files: 1
Infected files: 1
Data scanned: 0.00 Mb
I/O buffer size: 131072 bytes
Time: 0.374 sec (0 m 0 s)
If it works (like above) then feed it through your mail system from
Yahoo or something. Let us know the results.
