Sophos Not Retrieving new ide's

Its called by /usr/sbin/update_virus_scanners which should be called by a second script of the same name from /etc/cron.hourly

For what its worth I'm running the same MailScanner and Sophos versions with Mandrake 9 and my updating is working fine.
