MailScanner overrides HoldExpensive feature in Sendmail?

Hi

We are using Sendmail 8.12.8 along with MailScanner 4.21. We would like to 
have the HoldExpensive feature enabled in Sendmail so that sendmail does not 
deliver mail immediately. However ever since we have started MailScanner, we 
notice that mail gets delivered immediately. Anybody faced this before? Any 
pointers on what settings could be tweaked?
