Bad MailScanner Publicity

Well, this morning I checked my mail and it was full of virus receive
notifications of the Sobig.F virus.  These virii all came from the
linux-users at linux-sxs.org mailing list.  It looks like the list missed
some virus data file updates.

However, what did catch my attention was the large number of warning
messages issued by many MailScanner users.  Everyone of these damn warning
messages had MailScanner's name plastered all over it.  They out numbered
all the Nigerian/penis/viagra/porn scams by far.

I don't know what to do about it but filling people's mailboxes with this
nonsense is definitely not good publicity for MailScanner!  I know that
the warning is now off by default in the new release but there sure are a
lot of idiots spamming the hell of us using MailScanner!

On the positive side there do seem to be a LOT of MailScanner users out
there!
