I decided to download and install Trend's virus scanner.  The trial
version comes with virus data files that are 8 months old.  You can't
update to the newest version unless you have a serial number.  The trial
version doesn't have a serial number.

Unless I'm missing something the trial version is just plain useless
except to demonstrate how it works.
