Per Domain Recovery Archiving

Move all the *.rpmnew files over your old ones, unless you have knowingly
customised them. Check under /etc/MailScanner/*,
/etc/MailScanner/reports/*/* and /usr/lib/MailScanner/*.
And run the
         upgrade_MailScanner_conf
command so you get all the new settings in place.
