You shouldn't need that.

Are you sure you've got the "defer_transports" setting in
/etc/postfix.in/main.cf? The incoming postfix should just dump everything
in the "deferred" queue (/var/spool/postfix.in/deferred).

From my setup, the relevant bits of /etc/postfix.in/main.cf are
defer_transports = smtp local virtual
queue_directory = /var/spool/postfix.in
