Try doing an nslookup on some IP:

For example, to see if 207.189.28.75 is listed, you'd do 'nslookup
75.28.189.208.relays.ordb.org'

You should get this right back (or similar):

Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
Server: 207.189.28.2
Address: 207.189.28.2#53

** server can't find 75.28.189.208.relays.ordb.org: NXDOMAIN

If not, there may be an issue between you (or your nameserver) and
relays.orbd.org

Subject: ORDB-RBL timed out and was killed

After upgrading from an older verion of MailScanner to
MailScanner-3.23-4, my ORDB has been timing out:

/var/log/syslog before:
Oct 3 05:53:29 mail1.ihs.com mailscanner[25975]: Message g93BpIli028175
is spam according to ORDB-RBL

/var/log/syslog after:
Oct 3 06:27:51 mail1.ihs.com mailscanner[22276]: RBL Check ORDB-RBL
timed out and was killed, consecutive failure 1 of 7

Just curious if anyone else is seeing this.

Thanks,

Dustin
