V4 installation problems..

i read through the list archives and i do already had the proper config file
options. performing an ls -ult on the /etc dir shows that mailscanner.conf
is not being read. ms is installed in /opt/MailScanner (sym link) and i also
created a sym link /usr/local/MailScanner just in case. any idea why the
config file is not being read?
