9-22-02 Thread was "Second Speed Test" or something like that

The non-rpm was VERY simple to implement. It took all of about 2
minutes. All I did was un-tar the archive to /opt/MailScanner as
instructed, set my mailscanner.conf the way I liked, and modified
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mailscanner to use the new path and it was up and
running. Also had to modify the crontab to change the path for
check_mailscanner. Note, I untar to /opt and then symlink MailScanner
to MailScanner-4.00.0a7 so the working directory will always be
/opt/MailScanner. Makes upgrades much easier.

I have been holding out for the RPM to be released but am tempted to
break down and install a7 now. Someone posted directions on how to
install it but I cannot seem to find them in my mail folder. Could
someone give me the jist of it again?

Matthew
