Problems calling SpamAssassin

Sorry, I got involved in a few projects. It would appear that you guys are
correct, the problem is with DNS lookups. I *really* hate to ask, but I am
very new to Perl:

1. How do I remove Net::DNS? (feel free to just point me to the information,
i don't mind to RTFM, is just don't know which FM to look in :-)

2. Will the RBL and Razor checks work without Net::DNS?

3. If the RBL and Razor checks will not work without Net::DNS, what would be
the best way to fix Net::DNS - update it via CPAN?

Thanks!
:-)

Youn

Setting the "skip_rbl_checks" option may not be enough. Comment the
"Razor" check and also the MX check if they are currently enabled and
see if that improves things.

I had installed the Net::DNS module but that appears to be faulty. I
found that almost any DNS lookup by SpamAssassin was delayed or would
untimately timeout.

If the Net::DNS module was present on your system when you built
SpamAssassin, certain checks may be implicitly enabled according to my
reading of the SpamAssassin docs. To be safe, remove Net::DNS and
rebuild SA.
