Don't know if this is related, maybe...
When I restart MailScanner and continue using the session I get messages
displayed on top of what I'm doing, messages like:
"<user at mydomain.com> unknown"
"unmatched <"
I've only restarted MailScanner, not sendmail.
And the ssh client only closes if the session is clean and it doesn't close
after restarting MailScanner.

One of the first things MailScanner does is to fork itself off into the
background.
I'll check the code for you.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
