I have just discovered a minor bug in the Sophos autoupdate script.

This will only affect people who have updated their original Sophos
installation using the supplied Sophos.install script. The bug is due to
Sophos' own installation program leaving a file behind that is left over
from the previous version that was installed.

You can either download a complete new package from
         http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/downloads.shtml
or you can just retrieve the relevant autoupdate script for your operating
system and use it to replace the current autoupdate in the sophos/bin
directory:
     Linux:
         http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/files/autoupdate.linux
     Solaris/Unix:
         http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/files/autoupdate.solaris

This was unfortunately the type of problem that only comes to light after
the script has been used for several months :-(
