It's a "just before it lands in RHEL 8" distro going forward and will be a lot more stable that Fedora, which is the "bleeding edge" in Red Hat land. You could consider CentOS 8 Stream as "CentOS 8 + CentOS 8 Continuous Updates" with a "little extra" since the stream versions are going to track the packages that land in the next point release of RHEL.</div><div><br></div><div>Just my observation so far.
