I don't think that it's just something related to perl version.<div><br></div><div>I'm running the MS with perl v5.10.1 and I'm getting the same problem, what I realized is that with the kernel version 2.6.35 I got this error and with the kernel version 2.6.32 I was running it without problems ...<div>

I've just been hit by this after upgrading perl from 5.12.2 to 5.12.3 on a gentoo box, only solved by adding -U in /usr/sbin/MailScanner.<br>
