I'm sure that you haven't set correct permissions for<br>
'root'@'<a href="http://mta1.host.com" target="_blank">mta1.host.com</a>' on the remote host. And you should not *ever* use<br>
root for that! Maybe read a bit up about how MySQL authentication and<br>
security works.<br>
