The MTA is sendmail. Please excuse me if my language is insufficiently precise. Do I need to post my sendmail.conf then? I'm really an Oracle DBA teaching myself this as I go.

2010/12/9 Denis Beauchemin <Denis.Beauchemin@usherbrooke.ca>
Ok, to be more accurate, why cant I get it to send and receive emails for two different domains on two different IP's? I realize it doesnt actually work at the IP level, but in the config files you do specify domains, and I appear to not have that set up properly, since I can only send and receive on one domain.
This is something you need to do at your MTA. MailScanne has
never, does not - and probably never will - listen on any IP's
since it doesn't work at that level.
As Alex said, look into sendmail/postfix/exim config.
