But yet the Subject was appended with [SPAM] (our spam signature).<br>

figure out when exactly this happens but it seems to me that messages<br>
are marked as SPAM when they are replies or forwards. (Re: or Fwd in
the header).<br>
Is there any way to know when the watermarking fires marking a message
as spam and why?<br>
Any ideas are appreciated.<br>
