determine that MailScanner was modifying the emails in some way. I started
archiving a test email account. I had the sender with digital signatures send to
that account. When passing through MailScanner, the digital signature gives the
error "The digital signature on this message is invalid or not trusted". The
details give the error "The message contents may have been altered".

same email that was archived, the digital signature looks

there is no stripping of html, or any other kinds of modifications being done.
