MailScanner-4.01-3, I get the following error while i installing the latest
sophos virus scanner with the script in
/usr/sbin/Sophos.install<BR><BR>------------<BR>===> Installing virus
data<BR>vdl-3.62.dat copied to
/usr/local/Sophos/lib/vdl-3.62.dat<BR>vdl-3.62.dat symlinked to
/usr/local/Sophos/lib/vdl.dat<BR>Adjusting /etc/sav.conf<BR><BR>===>
Installing manual pages<BR>sweep.1 copied to
/usr/local/Sophos/man/man1/sweep.1<BR><BR>===> Checking paths are
accessible<BR> $PATH is
OK<BR> Library path is
OK<BR> Manual path is
OK<BR>===> Installation complete <===<BR><BR>Fetching latest IDE virus

has gone wrong. There should be a copy of the<BR>script sophoswrapper in the
directory<BR>/usr/local/Sophos/bin. Please re-install the MailScanner or
fetch<BR>another copy of sophoswrapper from the distribution web
site.<BR>----------------<BR><BR>if i look at the Sophos install file (
/usr/sbin/Sophos.install ) I see
this:<BR><BR>SOPHOS=/usr/local/Sophos<BR>SCRIPTS=/opt/MailScanner/lib<BR>COMPD=linux.intel.libc6.tar.Z<BR>DISTRIB=linux.intel.libc6.tar<BR><BR><BR>when
i do a locate I see this:<BR><BR>[root@the-mask sav-install]# locate
sophos-autoupdate<BR>/usr/lib/MailScanner/sophos-autoupdate<BR><BR><BR>i have
changed the scipts directory to /usr/lib/MailScanner and it
works..<BR><BR>see:<BR><BR>------------<BR>===> Installing shared
library<BR>libsavi.so.2.2.03.098 copied to
/usr/local/Sophos/lib/libsavi.so.2.2.03.098<BR>libsavi.so.2.2.03.098 symlinked
to /usr/local/Sophos/lib/libsavi.so.2<BR>ldconfig
