1. Look at the headers:

List-Id: MailScanner Discussion <mailscanner.lists.mailscanner.info>
List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/options/mailscanner>,
  <mailto:mailscanner-request at lists.mailscanner.info?subject=unsubscribe>
List-Archive: <http://lists.mailscanner.info/pipermail/mailscanner/>
List-Post: <mailto:mailscanner at lists.mailscanner.info>
List-Help: <mailto:mailscanner-request at lists.mailscanner.info?subject=help>
List-Subscribe: <http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/listinfo/mailscanner>,
  <mailto:mailscanner-request at lists.mailscanner.info?subject=subscribe>

2. Look at the footer:

http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/listinfo/mailscanner

3. Right-click on a message from the list, such as this one. Many email
clients will offer you a menu including "unsubscribe".

Never write it in Perl if you can do it in Awk.
Never do it in Awk if sed can handle it.
Never use sed when tr can do the job.
Never invoke tr when cat is sufficient.
Avoid using cat whenever possible.

                                                   Please reply to the list;
