I saw that the installer installed a lot of packages. I would like to get rid of them, do you have a list what packages the installer installs? Check wether Zlib.so is present on your system find / -name Zlib.so If nothing is found try find / -name "Zlib.so*" You might need to create a symbolic link for things to work. That link is specifically for cPanel. If you arer using cPanel, we probably can't help with their front end UI. For MailScanner, you can do this easily with a rule set. WARNING: Local version: 0.99.4 Recommended version: 0.100.0 DON'T PANIC! Read http://www.clamav.net/documents/upgrading-clamav I've tried upgrading to v 0.100 - but had to back out as the upgrade procedure listed above breaks the integrations with MailScanner. They aren?t super quick about pushing the newest clam out to the repo. I used the version from repoforge for a long time but they were dreadful about pushing clam out and are basically defunct. It will get pushed, don?t worry about the warning messages, and consider running additional AV engines just because you can.
