Conf file overwritten

I have confirmed this is an issue going from 5.0.6-3 to 5.0.6-4 on rhel
(and possibly suse) builds, but it only occurs when running install.sh.
Updating directly from the rpm itself is unaffected.  I am preparing a fix.
