MailScanner doesn't do *any* SPF checks at all.

It calls SpamAssassin, which does SPF checks.

Tell SpamAssassin to *not* run any SPF checks on mail by commenting out the module:

#loadplugin Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::SPF
... on your /etc/mail/spamassassin/whateverthenameofthefilethathasit.cf
You can also completely erradicate the SPF module from your system by doing:

rpm -e --nodeps perl-Mail-SPF perl-Mail-SPF-Query
... if for example it's an RPM based distro.
