MailScanner 5.0.3 does not start MTA

Hi, 

I have been using the previous versions of mailscanner for many years. I upgraded my system (CentOS 6.x) to MailScanner 5.0.3. 

After upgrading when you start MailScanner the postfix MTA (both incoming and outgoing) is not started by MailScanner. Tested it with the sendmail and sendmail does not start as well. 

mailscanner --lint gives no errors 

What am I missing here? Where can I start to debug this?
