Question about whitelists

Hey List

I am setting up to install MailScanner at a new location and they just dropped on me that they want to add over 20,000 white list emails.  I have never had to do anything that size and wanted to know if anyone else has their list getting to that point ? and how it affects MailScanner if at all ?
