Which version of tnef are you using? When I upgraded to tnef 1.4.9 I had
these problems even though I had applied the recent patches that were
posted, and all the perms looked fine.

When I went back to tnef 1.4.8, everything was OK again. I also don't
understand why tnef was touching most of these messages. I had the user
compose a single line email, composed in html, and no attachments, and
it still unpacked it. However, with tnef 1.4.8 it didn't fail at least.
