Problem w/ MailScanner 4.79.11 only queueing mail

To be more precise, the problem turned out to be (I'm guessing) that Clam "choked" on the new updates that were designed to force people to upgrade. You should keep an eye on the MailScanner list, the Clam list and the SpamAssassin list (or at least the "announcements" lists so you can keep up with any update issues).

If you use RBL's (specially at the MTA level), you should also subscribe to any announcement lists they might have, so that if they go out of business you can disable them.
