You seem to be using an outdated ClamAV package which might be making your install "choke". Besides, using clamd is now preferred over clamavmodule.

perhaps bad, it has not required much attention.

I've noted the "ERROR:: Could not load databases from
/usr/local/share/clamav"

This stuff seems to repeat forever.

If I start MailScanner, no emails get through.  Using Top, I can see it
running, processing inbound mail, but it is all blocked.

Where should I start to troubleshoot?
