MailScanner 4.81.4-1 init.d bug

Hi All,

 

There is a bug with init.d script in the following package:

 

http://www.mailscanner.info/files/4/tar/MailScanner-install-4.81.4-1.tar
.gz

 

When you stop mailscanner service you will have 1 process refusing to
die:

"Program MailScanner, 1 process(es), refused to die."

 

I found old Debian bug (ID 491037) and fix for it:

 

Please change line 99 in the /etc/init.d/mailscanner script to have the
following:

 

start-stop-daemon --stop --retry=TERM/10/TERM/20 --name $NAME
