Question on reducing load on MailScanner machine

Unless you have unlimited amount of funds, I think you should always
think of a way to scale horizontally (eg. adding more machine )
instead of scale up.
For mail server it you will get better performance on 8 x old pentium
4 server  than having 1 x 8 core server.
