zen.spamhaus.org wont work ..

You most likely ran afoul of their usage policy. If you do too many queries to
them they blacklist your IP address.
From the affected system you can try a
host 2.0.0.127.zen.spamhaus.org

and if it times out, you are out of luck unless you pay for a feed.

I can get near the hit rate but I have to use 5 different blacklists to do it.
