Localhost forgery

No - I have three inbound SMTP gateways, which point to an Exchange server.  It sends outbound directly.  Maybe time to set up either set up a outbound relay host?  If I watermark them on mx-out will the inbound mx hosts all queue off the same watermark?

does you outgoing go via MailScanner? if so make ure you're using the watermark feature of MailScanner. Still means you're accepting the email but it will mean any email thats an NDR without those watermark headers will get marked as spam.
