No it's non windows based, It's bind running on centos 4.x.
I would like to know if someone could explain me if my dns configuration
it's correct.

Install a caching nameserver on your box and male sure it has access to the
outside world. You may also want to use opendns as your forwarders since
they can be faster than some ISP DNS servers.

Your internal DNS - I'm guessing here... - is probably windows based.  
In my experience this is usually not good.
