Try the attached - I've changed the timeout information:

INFO::ERROR::Timed out after 30 seconds (113 remaining sockets waiting 
after 1 checks)

I've not had it time out on me at all - to get the above output I had to 
add a sleep(10) after each result.

Make sure you have a newish version of Net::DNS - I'm also running a 
local caching-nameserver.
