Null Sender Question

I've got MailScanner configured to send a message to senders whose attached files are password-protected and were not delivered. The resulting, outgoing message from my system has a Null Sender "from=<>" and I believe many of the receiving systems will not deliver messages with a null sender. Where can I fix this so the messages come from a postmaster or user?
