Please don't do that!
It doesn't give MailScanner any chance to clear up, and you'll get loads
of junk left behind in /var/spool/MailScanner/incoming. Do a "killall
MailScanner" and just give it a few seconds to clear up, or even better
/etc/init.d/MailScanner restart
or
service MailScanner restart
which does it properly.
