My boss has just nattered at me because he tried to send along to a
third party a .bmp file sent to *him* by his attorney.

Brushing aside for the moment all the obvious questions like "why would
an attorney be sending out a .bmp file?", we're left with "if
MailScanner is intercepting this filetype on the way *out* of our
mail system, why isn't it intercepting it on the way *in*, too?"

Is that really direction sensitive?
