exim delivery to mailscanner not completing

ITNT BannerI have a problem where mail coming from exim servers is not being 
delivered to our mailscanner servers (4x).

We get ghost logs;

sendmail[4616]: m5RB5Dp4004616: from=<shaun at iwi.co.za>, size=507197, 
class=0, nrcpts=2, proto=ESMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=secure11.ia-dns.com 
[72.9.151.158]

showing mail coming in , but then nothing from here....

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am running Mailscanner 4.69.9, sendmail 8.14.1, spamassassin 3.2.5, clamd 
0.93
