Mailscanner optimization

hi,

i have a very heavi postfix+mailscanner as MX gateway.. now mailgraph stat
said about 30message/minute and i have a queue that increase soo much and so
mail delivery is slow...
How can i optimize mailscanner or postfix to speed up mail delivery ?
