The answer to that question is neither. Both actually use SpamAssassin  
to catch the spam and what ever you can do with SA you can do with  
both. What you actually want to be comparing is extra features that  
each of the 'glue' (Glue because MS & Amavis both glue other  
applications together) processes offer e.g watermarking and look at  
the pros and cons to the different mail handling techniques i.e. batch  
over stream.
