Perl IO Modules on Ubuntu 6.06

I used the tar.gz, but damn I might just install it again then :)
I upgraded the packages on my Ubuntu server, that might have
written over the one who came with MailScanner.

How did you install MailScanner? Did you use the tar dist? It should
contain IO 1.2301.
