MIME content incorrectly identified as executable

One of our users sent an HTML email which I believe contained multiple
MIME entities.
These entities were referenced in the email using content-id URLs (RFC 2111).
The content-id URLs ended in '.com', which MailScanner's Filename
Checks identified
as executables, but the content 'pointed' at was actually a gif file.
